Work Continues
Living
Memorials
As
the last two years have passed, Karen's friends and family have found many ways
to remember Karen...by talking about her, by working on the Karen Fund projects,
through
gathering at this website, and by signing Karen's guest book.
Thank
you for your ongoing involvement! Tributes and living memorials include:
1)
The Narkiss St. congregation in Jerusalem has agreed that we can set up a bookcase with books on
counseling right in the worship hall of their premises.
2) On March 1, 02 at the conference center of Yad Ha Shemona, the cooperative settlement of Christians in the Judean Hills out west of Jerusalem, we have scheduled a musical event in memory of two years from the
home going of Karen. At that time we will be giving an update of the progress being made on the objectives of the Karen Fund.
3) On March 22-23 at Christ Church, Jaffa Gate, we have scheduled a short weekend conference on
"The Christian believer and Depression". The lecturer is to be a Christian psychiatrist who is coming for that purpose from the States.
Progress has been so very slow because of the Home for Bible
Translators and other activities that have filled out our time.
Chinese proverb via my father: If things go slow, don't worry. When they
stop, then worry.

Memorial
On
Friday, March 1, 2002, a memorial service held at the Music Hall in Yad
Hashemona, gave tribute to Karen and introduced the Karen Fund.
